Podcast: Defining “Exoneration”

In this episode, I unpack the recent use of the legal term “exoneration” in reference to Mainstream Media Headlines reporting that “Mueller does not exonerate Trump” and “Trump is not exonerated from the Mueller investigation.” I unravel legal terminology when it’s used as a figure of speech, how it’s defined in actual courts of law; and how we, as the public, should ensure terms are well-defined before buying into narratives and conclusions provided to us.
